Description: Ping allows you test whether or not a specific IP Address is accessible. It accomplishes this task by sending a bit of information to the IP Address and waiting for a reply from that machine. Ping is a good utility to troubleshoot your Internet connection and see where the problem is. See Also: Ping Software.
